I have made an explanation to explain the process on how to vote.
Every three years NZ does a vote for who they want to be government but there is a process to vote so let’s look into it.
Before voting you will receive an easy vote card in the mail then with your easy vote card you take it to a polling place. They will ask for your full name,email/address and some other details.
After following the first part of the process, secondly you start your voting. You get 2 votes one for your party and the other for your candidate once writing down your votes you put them into the box on who the vote was for.
When voting happens you might not be from NZ but moved here so there is something called a special vote this vote allows you to vote even if you’re not from nz. What you do is exactly the same as a normal vote but put your address on where you’re staying so you can still vote.
And that’s it you’ve voted but one more thing when voting be respectful to the people that help you if you have issues when voting cause they do a lot of helping out to get what you want sorted.
