Hello,
In health, we played a game called water pong. Normally it would be called beer pong but we couldn’t play that because of the rules so we played water pong instead.
The way in which you play this game is having 10 cups set up in a triangular way and another 10 cups in the same way in front of the other cups but a little bit distanced from eachother. To play you need 2 teams of two in which each team takes turn throwing a table tennis ball into the other team’s cups. Once a ball lands in a cup, the cup is taken away and the opponent then drinks the contents of the cup, but we didnt drink it.
Some of the rules of this game are
- not blocking the ball from going in the cup
- not leaning towards the cups
The areas of hauora that was affected in this game was taha whanau because we worked with others together, and it was positivley imapcted since we all worked together as a team.
The social justice value of fairness was shown when my team had been working together by taking turns so everyone had a go to play.
I think I participated okay because I had a couple turns and I ended up getting one in a cup.
The definitions of our other key concepts are:
Short term: 3 months
Long term : over 3 months+
Social justice: the view that everyone deserves equal rights and opportunities
