Hello readers,
In science we did an expierement on making rainbows with..
- 1.0 mol HCl
- 1.0 mol NaOH
- universal indicators
Aim: To neutrualise the acid with the base and making a rainbow in the testube
Equipment:
- HCL – hydrochloric acid
- NaOH – Sodium hydroxide
- Universal indicator
- Testube
Method: We just mixed our equipments we had together into a testube and see what colour we could get and just to see what happens.
different ph numbers = different colours.
Results and discussion: We didn’t end up making a rainbow because we kind of added to much of all the acids all at once and we’re not patient. No matter how much of each product we used tho we always ended up with purple orange.
Conclusion:
In conclusion we didn’t get the best results but I think that next time though to have better results is maybe not add to much and pay attention to how much and of what we are adding.
