Eight weeks ago we were learning about Project Island Song. We learnt about what sound birds make, what native trees there are, Native birds. Then we went to Project Island Song and we learnt a whole lot more.
I learnt that weta poo is the biggest insect poo, also that they bring bamboo shoots with giant weta inside to the Island AND ALSO RATS CAN SWIM UP TO 1KM. I found doing the walk very hard and tiring since I was carrying a shovel and since it was quite long. After we did all of that they came back to visit us at our school they even gave us FREE PENS, We showed them many of our cool Project Island Song activities.
If they visit our school again I will try to put more effort into making something creative. It was really fun learning about Project Island Song. If you ever go to Project Island Song, Make sure to take photos of all the cool things you see including the amazing view.
