STEM Challenge – Friendship bracelet.

Last Friday we made friendship bracelets for our STEM challenge, we learnt how to make these by one of my classmates Mackenzie.

To make these we had 7 strings of wool and a circle of paper, we had to cut 8 slits around the circle and put a hole in the middle.

You put each piece of wool in a slit and leave 1 empty, then you put the strings through the hole in the middle and tie a knot. Starting at the slit you count three strings anti-clockwise and put that string in the empty slit and do that over and over, always checking out for knots from the dangling bits of wool.
