Cow’s eye

Hello everyone I hope you all are doing well. Yesterday in Science class we were supposed dissecting a cows eye and today we have to write a blog post.

 

Aim – To learn how eyes work by dissecting a cow’s eye

Research – The eye has 7 main parts

Cornea – the cornea is the outermost clear layer of the eye.

Pupil – the opening at the center of the iris through which light passes.

Iris – The iris is the colored part of your eye.

Lens – is an important part in the eye it allows the eye to focus on object at varying distances.

Retina – The ratina is a key bridge between the light that enters your eyes and the image you see.

Optic Nerve – transmits electrical impulses from your eye to your brain.

Humorous – the clear fluid in the front part of your eye.

Method 

1 we cut the fat off the eye

2 we put a hole into the eye and cut around the pupil

3 we took the lens out of the eye
