At the age of 17 years old, Jacinda had been recruited by her then auntie to join and help with campaigning for knew plymouth. That is where she had started which had led up to now. I believe that is why she had first started her politician career.

In order : A domestic terror attack , A volcano eruption , and a Pandemic.

3.What significant events happened for Ardern in 2017?
The year 2017 was the year that Jacinda ardern had tooken over the labour party not long ago after the 2017 election ! and also becoming the prime minister of New Zealand.

4.List down 5 successes Ardern mentioned in her speech
She tightened most of the firearm laws and announcing a ban on military-style semi-automatic firearms within a week of the attack.
During the first wave of covid-19, it was to be believed that her government elimination had saved many lives , making our country one of the lowest death rates in the western world.

5. What does Ardern say about her passion for improving the lives of children in NZ?
During her time, child poverty was becoming something more serious and she wanted to help children to kind of get out of that lifestyle and live life to the fullest.

6. What does she mean by this statement? Politics has never been a tick list for me. It’s always been about progress. Sometimes you can measure it, and sometimes you can’t.

She believes that within a certain range something such as politics for her could have been handled within range of her own knowledge ? Its like a 50/50 between her chances in being confident in what she needs to work on ?

7. What impacts did Ardern’s job have on her child Neve?
Her daughter was learning off of Jacinda meaning she was picking up the strong traits of Jacinda. She expressed how Neve was already becoming that independent type of girl already. It probably reminds Jacinda of herself in a good way.

8.Summarise what Ardern said about the Covid pandemic in her time
She often struggled with finding out solutions on covid. She was highly asked the question abt covid 19 and usually had to work harder to prgroosevliy help out New zealand. f

9.Why was she scared to hug people?
At that time, she had recently received a comment about her going into hugging again. She says the it “stuck with her “ meaning that she would continually fight the urge to comfort someone ? All due a comment which had engraved a little into her.

10. Who did Ardern thank in her speech?
Her mates from the labour party , Pike river families , To all of her Dps team, Vip drivers who spread lots of kindness towards her , Therese Colgan , Her family and Grant the finance minister.
