on the 22nd of Jan. I created a poster to show the big 5 animals of NZ. Our task was to
Endemic means native and restricted to a certain place. I researched those 5 animals. The Kiwi, a Tuatara, Keas, Fantails and hector dolphins. I found out a lot of interesting facts. Like did you know Kiwis have nostrils at the tip of their bill (the only bird with this feature) and whiskers, using a powerful sense of smell to find food underground, unlike most birds that rely on sight.
