My summary of the part we just read is, lana went on a family getaway to Samoa even though it hasn’t been school hoilday’s, Emily felt unwell just by thinking about it she had a weird feeling moving in to her chest that it felt like she was gonna throw-up, mama/nan thought it was because Lana wasn’t here. Emliy mama/nan showed up with her drink, she thought it was orange juice but it was a green and gloopy drink, emily told her mama/nan if she was tryna poison her, nan told her to drink it to make her strong as a coconut crab emily drinked it, a few minutes past emily felt more settled and calm she was wondering if it was the drink nan gave her, she told nan she’ll go school as long as she promises her to not go on the ladder.
