Kia Ora Fellow Bookworms
Today in this piece of writing, I will be discussing my point of view of my recent journal study called ” King and Country ” my group have been operational towards each other through cooperation, participation, and overall just teamwork.
In this story, it explains how Tipu ( the main character ) wants to participate in war to fight for King & Country. Tipu was mostly a rugby person, where he mostly socialises with pakeha in his rugby games. Tipu however, had a weird feeling that he wanted to go to war, but as he debated with his mother about this circumstance, he was overwhelmingly humbled by his mother as she told him that the age limit was 22, and Tipu wasn’t in the exact range during his times. A few minutes before this argument, Tipu overheard his parents discussing about the land confiscation in Waikato during the 1860s, which made me think that was the exact reason why Tipu wanted to participate in the conflict in the first venue.
In all inclusive, I haven’t read the entire story itself, but by future evidence coming from the past paragraphs i’ve heard, I can clearly imagine an image in my head that can clearly tell me what the next sub-paragraph will be about. But nonetheless, that was a brief explanation on my story ” King & Country ”
Thank you for reading my journal study, and I hope you have a great and immaculate rest of your day.
What book are you reading as of now?
Nga Mihi – Poching Natoealofa
