hello everyone today I’m going to talk about rockets and show my reading tasks ok lets start.
imagine standing at the base of a rocket it is taller than a house and heavy as 10 elephants, and is made of heavy carbon fiber and metal. right now, it isn’t moving at all.In science we say the forces are all balanced gravity is pulling down on the rocket to the Earth’s core but the concrete launch pad is pushing back with the same force. To get this massive machine into the sky we need to create an unbalanced force. This is where the magic of thrust comes in. Rocket engines aren’t like car engines they don’t turn wheels and instead they work on a principle discovered 300 years ago by sir Isaac newton he found out if you want to move something forward you have to push something backward. Think about throwing a heavy medicine ball and someones on a skateboard and you throw the ball as hard as you can the skateboard will roll backwards. In a rocket the ”medicine ball” is millions of tiny gas molecules created by burning fuel. when these gases are blasted out of the rocket at insane speeds, equal and opposite reaction pushes the rocket up into the cloud.create tasks https://docs.google.com/videos/d/1_BACYZlWGLL794REpq_JyY4N-XRT8YaPO2-JeFkFEPA/edit?scene=id.p#scene=id.p
