Last week Friday we laid the drainage pipe down in the trench on the side of the hill.
Then Matua Jason brought the trailer load full of scoria rocks.
Me and the boys unloaded the trailer into wheel barrows then we laid in into the trenches. The tools we used were shovels instead of spades because it is more efficient. Also I lost my balance while trying to move one of the wheel barrows down the hill & split it all over the foot path.
So I learnt to not overload the wheelbarrow to the point when its very easy to lose balance.
I was the main guy shoveling scoria off the trailer & I realized that all the shovels picking up the rocks were very loud .
So I learnt to wear ear muffs so it wouldn’t be so loud.
