Ger Rich or Die Trying

They way in which diamonds are mined vary significantly between the legal regulated trade vs the illegal blood diamond trade.

The legal trading of diamonds is regulated through international agreements like the Kimberley Process, which aims to prevent the trade in conflict diamonds.  many countries have their own laws and regulations governing diamond trading. The illegal way of trading Blood diamonds are mined in conflict zones and sold to finance armed conflict against governments.

Blood diamonds and legal diamonds are very different in the ways they are mined and sold.

Today we were assigned with a research task to find out where blood diamonds are located. We were given a outline of the world map and needed to highlight the countries that contain blood diamonds. this map needed to contain a key, title, border and the direction north so here is my map.

Where are most of these countries located.

Africa contains the most countries with blood diamonds with Angola, Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.

What do they have in common.

Countries that sell blood diamonds often share common traits like political instability, weak governance, armed conflicts, and a lack of proper diamond industry regulations, allowing the illicit trade of diamonds to fund violence and human rights abuses.

Who collects the diamonds?.

Various armed groups, rebel factions, and criminal organizations are typically involved in the collection and trade of blood diamonds. They exploit diamond mines in conflict zones and use the proceeds to finance their activities, contributing to human suffering and instability.

Who makes all the money

It goes to someone called the rebels who sell the diamonds  and the money is used to purchase arms or to fund their military actions.
