Wow!! Room 1 had a fun day creating last week. First we created traditional Maori kites and had to use team work to achieve this & then on Thursday we learnt a new skill- how to tie dye. The sunshine was out so it was the PERFECT weather for such an awesome skill to develop.
First we had to dampen the shirt with water, then we tied it up in different patterns using rubber bands, and then we squirted the tie dye onto the white shirt to create fun patterns.
Such a fantastic time!
