Pink Shirt Day Celebrations in Room 3

What an exciting and heartwarming day we had in Room 3 for Pink Shirt Day!  Our tamariki showed their support for kindness, inclusion, and standing up to bullying by dressing in all things pink—shirts, tutus, hats, socks, glasses, and even pink hair and pink ribbons on school bags!  It was wonderful to see everyone joining in and having so much fun while sharing such an important message.

We also celebrated two special birthdays—Malakai and Koa both turned 6! 🎂

And if that wasn’t enough, we also had the chance to show some extra love to our amazing support staff for Support Staff Day. We gave a special surprise to the team member we were assigned – Shout out to Whaea Jas!  But we also wanted to let all our support staff know how much we appreciate them. We are so lucky to have five wonderful support staff working closely in our room every day—thank you for all the care, patience, and fun you bring to our learning!

Ngā mihi to all the whānau who helped us dress up and take part—it was a fun and meaningful day.

Ka pai, Room 3!
