Monday 21st July
Today Kereru and Tui walked to the Waitara Fire Station. when we were there we had a look of the stuff in the fire station.We looked at the fire suits and the fire trucks we also got to learn how important it is to get out of a building when its on fire after that we learned how to be sensible around candles and lighters also matches. then we went inside the fire safety house Julie,Chris and Tiny,also Melissa the fire fighters went inside the safety house too they put up some fake smoke to see how we would react we all went down on our knees and crawled out fast! and then we headed to our safe meeting place, and then we all lined up with Tui and we all had a picture and then we saw Toroa eating there morning tea outside then when we went back to school we had morning tea my favourite part of the fire station was when we went inside the fire safety house because I liked the fake smoke but it did stink.By Meadow.
