My Poem – Stanza

BELONGING TO ME – POETRY

Name: Meki

EXEMPLAR POEMS – Room 4 Examples
This is my water bottle

It’s dented

And scratched
From being dropped too many times

This is my water bottle

It rattles
When I shake it
Because the straw is loose
And the lid never shuts properly

This is my water bottle

It’s old,
But I won’t replace it

Because it’s been with me everywhere

This is my bedroom

It’s a keeper of secrets

And a hider of shoes

This is my bedroom

It’s messy and chaotic

Clothes and bedding

Strewn everywhere

This is my bedroom

It’s messy but it’s mine

I wouldn’t have it any other way
