Jojo Rabbit Trailer Response

1. What are your overall thoughts and impressions of the trailer for Jojo Rabbit?

  • Personally, the thought I have formed as I watch the trailer of Jojo Rabbit is that it’s about the world war 2, where a little boy and his friends went to a camp to learn how to function as soldiers at a young age.

2. What are your thoughts on the use of satire and humour in the trailer for Jojo Rabbit? How do you think this might affect the tone and the message of the film?

  • Based on the trailer, I think that satire was used in the film through the form of covering all anger with jokes and laughs, despite the war in which they were currently living.

3. How do you think Jojo Rabbit might be relevant to your own life, the community, and wider society today?

  • In my opinion, I can relate Jojo Rabbit to my own life by looking at the positives and finding a way to improve myself despite the bad situation I’m in. On the other hand, I can somehow relate the film to society through propaganda by using an imaginary Adolf Hitler as Jojo’s imaginary friend. In the trailer, the hate and anger was also displayed in which I can relate to the people today.
