For reading, we were learning about a leader who changed New Zealand forever, by just saying two words ”Kia ora”.
Her name is Dame Naida Glavish also known as the ”Kia ora lady”. She encouraged everyone to speak and embrace their language/culture. She is an inspiring lady that never gave up, she stood up for what was right and in the end she accomplished her goal.
