From my perspective, mana is inherently derived from your ancestors, but it also comes from engaging in significant and meaningful actions such as kapa haka, mihi, speech, karakia, good deeds, battles and hardships. Mana can manifest as confidence, aura, honor, and various other attributes.
Many interpretations exist, as it cannot be confined to a single definition.
To me, mana can mean a multitude of aspects, as it is expressed in numerous diverse ways.
