The Autumn school holidays
Do you remember staying over at your friends house, eating popcorn and watching movies until midnight, even though her mum said we had to go to bed at 9:00pm?.
Do you remember feeling scared for the cyclone but it was only rain and wind?
Do you remember waiting to taste the hangi that you waited for but your mum said that you had to wait for everyone?
Do you remember seeing your cousins who you haven’t seen for years and you got way too excited because you got to spend time with them?
That was my Autumn school holidays.
