- Mount Everest is globally known as the tallest mountain.
- Mount Everest is 8849 M tall.
- Mount Everest’s height changes each year; just last year having a growth spurt. (Source)
- Over 340 people died on Mount Everest, one’s lost and frozen belongings serving as a milestone whilst climbers scale the mountain.
- Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first to climb Mount Everest alive on May 29, 1953, 11:30 am time.
- Mount Everest is located in Asia, The Himalayas on the Nepal-China border.
- The youngest person to climb Mount Everest was Jordan Romero, who was 13 in 2010, and the oldest to reach summit was Yuichiro Miura, who was aged 80 in 2013.
- The mountain is estimated to be around 50 to 60 million years old.
- It has different alias, one being “Peak Of Heaven” and “Goddess Of The Valley”
