ANZAC Day Survey Results

Of the responses that I received only 40% knew something about ANZAC Day. 80% knew that the red poppies were for remembrance of the soldiers that died during WW1.

60% of responders know that A.N.Z.A.C stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. 20% knew that WW1 began in 1914.

This graph shows the student understanding of where WW1 was located.

Overall I think that students in Year 7 and 8 at Karoro School knew very little considering we learn about ANZAC Day every year.
