WALT: compare and contrast texts and understand differences in style and structure of texts.
hii people!
today I will be sharing reading stuff!!
(such as create tasks, and explanation about the book, etc!)
before I show create tasks tho, I will share an explanation about the book/ text I am reading this week!!
so, we are reading 3 different texts, but its all in the same book? I don’t really know how to explain it, but all of the texts are astronomy/ space things.
So for the first text, the title is called “Not a planet anymore.” By Joshua Seigal.
its basically just a poem about how the author thinks Pluto fells for not being considered a planet. I’ll read it out ! 
“All my life I’ve felt left out. A tiny speck so far away. The bigger kids wont let me play, And now they say have their doubt. That I am even one of them. They are big and brave and bold. And I am tiny, blue and cold. They are Wonderous, shiny gems. And they don’t want the likes of me. They all have their moons and things. Saturn has her lovely rings. And planet earth has azure seas. Yes, all my life I’ve felt left out. My heart is big. My body small. And all my life, I’ve longed to call. I AM PLUTO! HEAR MY SHOUT!”
wow, it didn’t look that long on the page!
The second text’s title is called “What is the international space station?” By The NASA STEM team.
This page is basically explaining what the international space station is, and giving facts, such as “how old is the space station?”
and the third page is just a fiction story of a child playing pretend to shoot aliens while their mum is flying a rocket ship. its kinda weird to understand?
anyway, onto the create tasks.
for this week, we didn’t have to sit on the mat and do stuff we would normally do, so that was a win!
and with that spare time, I tried to do an extra good job on blogging and on my create tasks! 
For create task one, (chilli 1) you had to fill out a sheet of each page, and explain what it was about, the title, the author, etc!

Now onto the second create task.
the second create task was basically just a venn diagram, but you had to choose two pages of your choice to show the differences and the similarities.
this one was kind of hard because the pages were very different.
but I made it in sentences so it was a bit more… uhhh (I forgot the word.)
but anyways here it is!
Now onto the third and final create task!
so for this last create task, you had to make a copy of this slideshow, it was kinda like a digital pupil book, but then you had to go to a certain slide, and fill out things about the book you are reading this week.

anyway, just to let you know its slide 4!
by the way since there were three different titiles for the book, I did the first one!
