1VOC Scones cooking lesson.

Lemonade scones. 

Recipe.

  • 2 cups of self raising flour.
  • 1/2 a cup of lemonade.
  • 1/2 a cup of cream.

Method.

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

2. Get a bowl and add your flour.

3. Add your lemonade and cream.

4. Mix until it becomes a dough.

5. Grab parts of your dough and roll into balls.

6. Put baking paper on your tray.

7. Place your balls of dough onto the tray.

8. Put them in the oven.

In our group was Pauline, Jacqui, Nevaeh, Finesha and Mufaro. For our scones cooking lesson only three of us did the cooking and that was Pauline, Mufaro and I. The other three observed and supported us while we prepared and cooked our scones.

Before we started baking we wiped down our station and washed our hands, we then got our equipment and started to put our ingredients in our bowl. Mufaro then mixed the dough together then Mufaro, Pauline and I rolled out the balls of dough onto a board and then put them on the tray and into the oven. After about 25 minutes we got them out and I put jam and cream on them. We took a photo then started eating, I rate them a 10 out of 10.
