Every time I felt like I might throw up, I thought about being at the finish line, and that It wasn’t going to be long before I reached it.

As I crossed the finish line, I felt a wave of relief wash over me and I felt victorious even though I did not win, instead I came seventh. I didn’t get into zones, but some of my friends did and I’m proud of them for that. Even though cross country was difficult, I didn’t have a terrible time, but I’m glad that it’s finished now!
