X-Country Moment
On Wednesday 13 of May Waitohu School walked down to sunny Haruātai park for our senior X-country.
The year 4 boys ran 2 laps then the Year 4 girls and then year 5 boys and then the year 5 girls then my group went (the year 6 boys). I was very nervous because we had to do 3 laps.
The first 2 laps were fine but the last lap me and Runapire were sprinting for 2nd place but Runapire won 2nd and Aiden placed 1st and me 3rd I could hardly stand afterwards. I was relieved because I am going to regionals very soon.
