This morning we went to Govvet-Brewster Art Gallery in New Plymouth.
We went to see an exhibition about awa (river) and what lives in them.
There were lots of videos on eels.
My favourite part was when we could hear the sound of birds and know where the sound was coming from.
Something I learned was that Piharu are related to sharks and are not eels.
In the Art Gallery classroom we drew rivers, pipes, trees, rocks, and some harakeke.
