For the past few weeks we have been working on different types of poems. We first looked at a poem called Magpies by Denis Glover. It was a “A-B” poem an “A-B” is a four-line stanza in which the first and third lines rhyme (A), and the second and fourth lines rhyme (B) so after reading the magpies we had to make our own poem like that with a buddy. My buddy was Elisa and here is our poem.
