The Egg Parachute Experiment

Recently in science, we have been working on making some parachutes for eggs. The aim is to use items at our disposable to make sure our egg was safely dropped and didn’t break in the slightest.

What was your method?

Firstly, to start, we built our parachute. Using two different cups as the base, with the cardboard for eggs + straws to keep up the big Parachute bag, with a balloon inside to keep it open and make it fall slower. Then we completed the design. Decorated it and named it “The Fishers Hook”.

Did it break?

No, instead of breaking, it actually stayed together and was healthy.

Discussion.
