Structure Of Argument

We are learning to understand the structure of argument writing.

For this week’s writing we had to learn about argument writing. Argument writing is basically a writing that is arguing over a topic. Topic can be anything you want such as “rugby is better than soccer” There will be two sides of that argument you just have to write your perspective on your side of that topic and have to show your reasoning. So what a argument writing is about is that it is basically a debate over a topic and you have to choose one side or another but have to show your reasoning so that you can persuade whoever reading or listening. EG… so if I was doing a argument writing and our topic was “rugby is better than soccer” I would say “I strongly agree that rugby is better than soccer because you have more fun and it is not that dangerous”. What our topic for our argument writing is that “boys are better than girls at sport” My perspective on that topic is that I think boys are better because we are much stronger and also faster. We also have more adrenaline which means that we won’t know what our body is feeling.

Have you ever done a argument writing before?
