Why is the bee important

Why is the bee important to humanity?

First of all, what is a bee? A bee is a small creature with huge capabilities, they keep the world running  without noticing. Most people see them as pesky creatures that wreck the family dinner. But they are much more, in fact without them we wouldn’t be able to have fresh summer fruit, or apples for your lunch.

What do bees do?

Bees keep the world running one flower at a time, without them we wouldn’t have any food, after 4 years humans would be extinct  without them. There are 20,000 different types of bees and most you don’t even realize are bees! Bees pollinate flowers of fruit or vegetables, then they turn that pollen into honey with that delicious sticky and sweet syrup. Honey is also known to help people when they have colds, it’s crazy to think that-that jar of honey was made with hundreds of flower pollen.

What would happen if we didn’t have bees?

Without bees we wouldn’t have anyone to pollinate our flowers, and no insect would be able to do the job as good as them! Meaning Without bees pollinating the flowers we wouldn’t have the flowers, which means without the flowers we wouldn’t have any fruit or vegetables, you see the bees spread pollen by flying between the flowers without that we wouldn’t be getting any crops which means that we wouldn’t be getting any food either. So then animals wouldn’t have anything to eat as well as humans. Last but not least did you know that honey never expires!
