Hello today for social studies we can pick to find where people are from or guess who they are so I did the first option! I will be ranking them who is the most important and who is the least! I will also have to find out who they are and what they do!
The people: Sir Edmund Hillary, Kate Sheppard, Richie McCaw, Dame Whina Cooper and Sir Aprirana Ngata
This is Kate Sheppard I put her 1st because she granted woman’s rights and she also granted suffrage for woman since men could only vote. Also she granted women equal fairness in marriage and so that woman could dress like reform. Also she helped establish the National Council of women’s rights.
2nd I put Whina Cooper since she also fighted for woman’s rights and protested everywhere. She made a big difference by giving woman rights to vote and letting them having a choice in what they say and making woman matter in life since they after not only cooks and house wife’s.
3rd I put Sir Edmund Hillary since he built hospitals for kids and improved education for kids and inspired kids for determination since he was the first human to ever clime Mount Everest. He also built schools for kids in a region of Nepal.
This is Richie McCaw I put him 4th since he inspired kids to never give up in life since he won many rugby game and he won the all blacks 2 world cups. He worked very hard for his goal and did beyond that which is amazing.
This is Sir Aprirana Ngata I am very grateful that he was around since he helped protect Maori language and cultural. He protested and protested for years and sat on the parliament for at least 40 years and helped to save Maori language and culture.
