Hello everyone!
On the 2nd of September we had our big day! It was our production day! We performed in a church called “Hope Church”. Hope Church was right next to South Hornby School. We had to perform the production twice. The first performance started at 2pm during school, but we left school at 1pm. We got back around 3:45. The second performance started at 6pm, but we had to be there by 5:30. Some people came after 5:30, but before 6pm. I came around 5:32 – 5:34. So I was about 4 or 2 minutes late. When we started the 2pm show there was barely any parents there, so it kinda felt like a practice, but at the same time it felt like a real performance. When we started the 6pm one it felt like an actual performance, because there were so many parents! As soon as I got on stage I spotted my parents I gave them a wave and they waved back. My favourite part was when Pinchy (Myiesha) had to say a joke for her line. Her line went like “Where do sharks go on vacation?” Someone said something like ” Where do sharks go on vacation?” and Myiesha said “FINLAND!”
Also before the show started my teacher Whaea Megan took some pictures of us and some props! (I won’t show the pictures she took of us)
