The Sorrowful mysteries shows Jesus’ passion to share the word of God, and his death, this is a quick summary of what each of the mystery mean in Jesus saddest time in his life, firstly The Agony in the Garden, this mystery is after the last supper, before Jesus gets captured he brings his disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane, located at the foot of the Mount of Olives in the East of Jerusalem.
Jesus first reflects on his faith, where he shows his humanity, where he felt emotion as sorrow, fear, and anguish even though he knew he was going to die he still follow his God’s plan.
Secondly The Scourging of the Pillar, after Jesus got captured at the garden he was brought to Pontius Pilate, where he was tied to 2 pillars and repeatedly whipped by roman soldiers.
Thirdly roman soldiers heard Jesus was called the King of the Jews so the Roman soldiers mockingly put a crown made of thorns on Jesus head which made his head bleed.
Fourthly before getting crucified Jesus had to carry his cross up a mountain, where he fell multiple times and a man named Simon of Cyrene gave Jesus water and helped him carry his cross.
Finally Jesus was nailed to his cross and held up that was when he died.
