Hello readers! Today in science we were learning how the ear works and about soundwaves. Out final task for today was making a blog post on how we hear through headphones.
How we hear through headphones:
- The headphones make soundwaves
- The soundwaves enter the ear canal
- The soundwaves go through the ear canal and to the ear drum
- The soundwaves make the ear drum vibrate
- The vibrations from the ear drum make the small bones in the middle ear vibrate and they amplify the sound vibrations
- The sound vibrations are send to the cochlea and that makes the fluid inside it ripple
- This causes a wave that reaches the hair cells.
- The hairs move around and make electric signals that are sent to the brain
- The brain processes the sound
That is how to hear through headphones!!
