When I hear the phrase “positive role model,” I don’t just think of someone successful or admired—I think of someone who shapes others through everyday actions, values, and character. To me, five key words define what a positive role model truly is Integrity, Empathy, Resilience, Responsibility and Inspiration
Integrity
A positive role model does the right thing even when no one is watching. Their actions match their words, and that consistency builds trust. Integrity isn’t about being perfect it’s about being honest and accountable.
Empathy
Understanding and caring about others is essential. A role model listens, supports, and treats people with respect. Empathy allows them to connect deeply and create a sense of belonging for those around them.
Resilience
Life isn’t always smooth, and a positive role model shows how to handle setbacks with strength and perspective. They don’t give up easily, and they demonstrate that failure can be a step toward growth.
Responsibility
They take ownership of their actions and their impact on others. Whether in big decisions or small daily habits, a positive role model shows reliability and commitment.
Inspiration
Perhaps most importantly, a positive role model motivates others to be better. Not through pressure, but through example. Their behaviour encourages growth, confidence, and positive change.
But me I believe I only show integrity sometimes, I dont think I got no empathy, I think I very resilience, I think im very responsible and I dont think im a very inspiration person
