Eye dissection blog

Hello bloggers. In our Science Class on Wednesday we dissected the eye dissection to get a hands look on a cows eye. Firstly we turned the eyebrow to the back to see the optic nerve, Once the nerve was identified. We made an incision: using specialized scissors we carefully made a cut through the outer layer sclera and sliced around the middle of the eye to divide it into the front and back halves. Observed the fluid and the lens, Once inside  we could see the clear, jelly-like vitreous humor inside and carefully dropped out the lens. Next, we located the iris—the structure that controls pupil size—and pulled it out. After that we finally, pulled out all the internal components to dismantle and identify the remaining parts.
