This year in food tech, I have learnt many things. I learned how to properly use basic kitchen equipment and also make many delicious dishes.
One of my favourite dishes I have made was the feijoa muffins. As a person who doesn’t really enjoy feijoas, it was still by far one of my favourite dishes. I enjoyed how we got to prep our “feijoa syrup” so we could incorporate it into our muffins.
I really enjoyed this class because it helped me connect and learn things about people I didn’t really think I would talk to or interact with. It was nice working with such a small class because it was really easy to navigate. Sometimes we even got to make extra because there weren’t many people in class.
Another thing I enjoyed making was pinwheels. They were fun to make and they were also really easy to prepare and slice. It was really satisfying to see all of the layers of ham in cheese in between the pastry.
So to summarize I have really enjoyed this class and everything I have learned in it.
