Imagine this if you are in a place where people come to watch you for fun and you are in a small room where you can’t escape and the place is called a zoo. This is how animals feel when they are stuck in a zoo. So this is why we should not be keeping animals in zoos.
I believe that animals should not be kept in zoos because the enclosures are smaller than their normal habitat. It means that zoos make the enclosures small. According to google a normal tiger’s habitat is 1000km and Auckland zoos tigers habitat is 6km. I believe if the enclosure is too small the animal might be unhappy.
Another reason animals shouldn’t be kept in zoos is because they might lose their natural ability. It means an animal can lose their natural ability.Here is an example. If a predator gets feed for free every day it can lose the ability to hunt.I believe if the animal loses their natural ability and if they get released back into the wild the natural ability that was lost could be how it gets food.
I feel really sad for all those animals that have been captured. I think animals should have their own freedom. Does this writing change your point of view about zoos?
