Day 1 – Leading Program!!

In school I was selected by my teacher as well as other students from their teachers; to be a part of a leaders program. We all gathered into the hall waiting for all people to come over to talk about what we will be learning about. When they entered through the double doors they assigned us to get a partner. I immediately ran to my friend and we played one of the old games we’d played in the past. After that we had to get into groups of 5-4. I was partnered with, Niah, Hailey, and Celeste. Each group of four had received a bunch of pens and a piece of paper. There were two questions. the first and main one was; “How could we show leadership qualities?” My group and I came up with a bunch of ideas, and later we had to share what we wrote. Hailey, said two of all our chosen ones. The two teachers then told us to move on with the other question. “what are five key qualities?”. We all knew that respect was the key and main answer. We had also added Fairness, Responsibilities, kindness, etc. The next few things we did were more group paperwork. After all that work, we were exhausted and then they let us all play a game. We played human knot!! It was when you have to cross your arms and you have to grab the other hands that are across you. We struggled, and were in trouble. But we managed to untangle and become a whole circle. When we finished the game we sat on the mat and started a recap on what we did. While talking the bell rang and then we all went out of the hall to go home.
