LI: To understand what honouring the TOW means.
For inquiry me and my class had a mission to create a DLO that tells us what u can do to honour the treaty or what other people do to honour it. Me and my friend buddied up and found out what you cand do or words you could learn to honour it. Did you know you could also respect and honour the Treaty of Waitangi just by reading Maori words and try to learn to pronounce and speak simple words in Te reo Maori. This is the DLO me and my classmate worked on together and combined our ideas to make. I hope that you can take some of our ideas for yourself to help remember and respect the Treaty of Waitangi. I think it is important to remember it because of the hard working Maori people that signed the TOW and because it is my culture so i should be able to know and speak about this to respect my culture.
