Today in inquiry we were doing an experiment about how the sun works with all the year 6 and Whaea Liz.
The first thing we did was go outside, we got a tray and filled it up with sand and made a hole in it. We poured isopropyl alcohol in it so it can be flammable. We put powder sugar, and baking soda in and then Whaea Liz put it on fire, it started to burn.
It looked like a big marshmallow with little black worms. It also smelt like a burnt marshmallow.
