For the past week, Room 9 and I had to choose a story. After reading the story, we then had to do a follow up task. Therefore the story that I chose to work on was “Dive”. Dive is a short story about a samoan girl in Fiji. While Shelly and Eddy they went on a swim, a snake crawled towards towards Shelly frightening her to the point where she dropped her phone in the water. Eddy acted immediately, diving in to look for the phone. Luckily they found it after some time. Their phone was the only way they could talk to their dad in Auckland, which was why it was so urgent.
My follow up task was a question and answer sheet. I found this very interesting and fun to do at the same time, and I am looking forward to do more of these in the future.
