Food Groups Experiments

Introduction

On the Tuesday 16th of June, we began an experiment. The aim of this experiment was to test for which nutrients was inside our food. We ran 4 tests on different foods to analyze which nutrients were in our ingredients / foods. In order for this experiment to run smoothly, we rotated between 4 stations to keep our class experimenting efficiently.

  • Water
  • Test tubes
  • Beakers
  • Pipette
  • Crackers
  • Orange Juice
  • Copper Sulfate
  • Sodium Hydroxide

Instructions

First, we began with the safety precautions such as wearing saftey glasses.
