Hi blogger I am back! welcome to my science assessment Bottle rockets
So I will be telling you about how we made it and what metals we used, my group was just me and my friend marvel we have been slowly making a bottle rocket for are assessment the goal is to see how long it will stay in the air and how far it goes, the way we are going to test that is, are teacher is going to get a bike pump and attach the bottle to it and he will pump it a couple times then stand on the preause bottom and let it release it, off into the sky.
metals:paper,glue,Buttle cardored
Itractions on how we are making it, step one marvel is cutting out some carbored and making it the shape of a triangle so we can glue it to the bottle, I am working on a tip for the top so wen it release it won’t have helps off pressure as it takes of because we are using the top of the bottle for the connection to the bike pump. and the bottom off the bottle is are head so we are making a paper pointy bit so it does not have tonios off force because the normal bottom of a bottle is bigger than one with like a spike but are hole project broke so we decided to leave it as a normal bottle but with are friends cardored shaped like a sperm. here is some pitures

as you see hear this was are rocket bottle and it looks very plane but that is not the hole objective
| Distance travelled (m)
9 metres |
Time taken (s)
1.24 sec |
Speed calculation (ms-1)
7.25 ms-1 |
this timetable shows you the distance, and time, speed

so I have to do some QW: so here is some
Discussion:
- What are the forces acting on your bottle rocket? gravity, air restitance, force,
- Are they balanced/ unbalanced? unbalanced because of the big bottom where it is to thick so it can’t go through the air propbly
- What is net force and how does this relate to the forces acting on your bottle rocket?
- What are the strength of forces acting on it at different stages?
- How do the forces acting on the bottle rocket affect the motion of the bottle rocket at different points?
- Why do you think results may vary in the class?
Conclusion:
- How was your bottle rocket successful/unsuccessful and why (relate your answer to physics ideas)?
- How could you improve it? um have more time
