Today, we had to write about why school uniforms are important. Here is what I wrote:
Uniforms are a big part of school. It helps teachers/staff to identify which kids are from their school. For example; the school is on a field trip and a group of students get lost. It would be easier to find the lost group by looking for people with the uniform. It would then be more of a hassle to find them if they were wearing regular clothing.
Another reason why uniforms are important is so that students don’t wear inappropriate clothing. Staff always have to make sure that the students aren’t wearing distracting clothing. Uniforms make that job a lot easier for parents too. It is also quite difficult to make up a dress code that is good enough.
In conclusion, school uniforms are very important. I think that every school should have them.
