Ahuru Prize Giving 2025!

Today, Room 6 proudly celebrated our tamariki’s successes, achievements, and best efforts at the Waka Ahuru Prize Giving. It was a wonderful moment to acknowledge the hard work, growth, and dedication our learners have shown throughout the year.

From Room 6, we congratulate the following recipients:

  • Ahana – Best Efforts Award

  • Mary-Le – Academic Excellence Award

  • Damian – G.I.V.E.S Award

  • Amricha – Outstanding Effort Award

  • Jasmine – 90%+ Attendance Award

A huge congratulations to all these amazing learners! We are incredibly proud of you.

As the prizegiving awards were presented to these five learners, I also want to acknowledge that every child in Room 6 has shown their own best efforts and growth this year. I have witnessed each student working hard, trying their best, and showing commitment to their learning. To celebrate this, all Room 6 students will be receiving a small end-of-year class gift to recognise their memorable learning journey and achievements.

Thank you to all our whānau for your ongoing support for your tamariki throughout the year. We truly appreciate everything you do.

Room 6 also performed beautifully on stage, dancing “Have a Very Merry Christmas” with full enthusiasm and joy. They shone brightly and made us all proud.

As the year comes to an end, we wish all our Room 6 learners continued success. May you thrive and shine in the years ahead.
