For this Summer Learning Journey KickStart Activity, I listened to a story called The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. Something that was interesting was that the book was published years ago in the 1900s. I was challenged to draw my own Rainbow Fish swimming in the ocean with other sorts of fish around it. For this challenge I used Adobe Express for the background of fishes and I traced my own Rainbow Fish which is on the bottom. I traced the Rainbow fish by using the curving tool and used all of the rainbow fish but for the scales I used circles for some. The colours I used for this activity were different colours of blue, orange, pink, light purple, grey and green. But for the tails I used a colour that was mixed together which was light purple and light blue to make it like a type of mermaid colour.
Something that I enjoyed about this activity was making the Rainbow Fish because I like looking at different colours.
Something that was difficult in this activity was finding a background for the Rainbow Fish to be in because there were some that didn’t match and some that did.
Something that I found interesting that I found out about fishes was that most fishes don’t have eyelids except for sharks.
