The sweater

The Sweater

“Uhhhh” A sigh escaped my breath. There I was being forced to knit a sweater. Like it wasn’t even a pretty sweater it’s not like it was an abnormal magical sweater. It was a plain boring and matted up sweater. The knitting needles were old and chipped; they were giving me splinters everytime i flipped the stitch.

I leaned back in my chair giving my back a break from my previous position. “Argh” I groaned. I wanted to quit. But then I thought of my nanny. She wanted me to do at least one knitted project in my lifetime so I had to complete this. I sat back up and started to loop my wooden needle.

*2 days later*

“Yessssss” I cried. I was finally on the last stitch of my sweater. I have plasters over my fingers from the splinters I was collecting from the knitting needles. I had tied the last knot. I stood up and got dressed in my newly made sweater. I did a little spin in my mirror. I think i span around  like ten times watching the layers of my sweater colour pattern that you can clearly see was made by a first timer.

All of a sudden. I started rising off my bedroom carpet floor. I was too shocked to even whisper. Let alone a loud scream. I was so unbalanced that I ended up being completely vertical but my head was only 21 centimeters off the carpet.

Then my knitted sweater slipped right over my head, I knew it was too big.  THUD! I fell head first onto my carpet.

The sweater made me fly……
